A bit about me?
Hi, I'm Padraig Simpson, a UX Designer from New Zealand with a background in graphic design and suporting with children with autism. I am always looking for unique ways to connect brand identity and user experience.
My path to UX is long-woven. I worked as a house painter. Studied a degree in graphic design. Designed a magazine. Started a rug-making business. Moved to Australia and worked as a packaging designer. And finally lived in London and supported children with autism while I studied UX design.
Now I am looking for opportunities to extend my passion for understanding customer needs, crafting beautiful designs and creating seamless user experiences.
I am always working on some new project - whether design-based or anything else (rug-making, portrait paintings, building stuff). I love music and am constantly looking for ways that my work can help the music industry - I have ongoing poster/animation work with NZ techno clubs and record labels.
